SOCAN LA House is re-opening and accepting new applications for travel in compliance with applicable national and international guidelines. SOCAN is pleased to offer accommodations in Los Angeles exclusively for all SOCAN writers, composers and publishers who are visiting the city to further their career, craft or business. The newly updated SOCAN House L.A. is a private apartment nestled in the beautiful city of Silverlake, only steps away from the famous Sunset Boulevard. If you’d like to book a stay at SOCAN House L.A. but aren't a member yet, it's easy to become one. To find out more about SOCAN House L.A. and how to book a room, please click on the links below. Please note that because of the increased demand at SOCAN House L.A., the “first-come, first-served” policy is no longer in effect. If more than one member requests the same week, applications will be reviewed and a member selected.

Application Process

Once completed, send all requested materials to socanlahouse@socan.com

Summary of important Information about your stay (see application for full guidelines and terms and conditions)

1. A SOCAN member may enjoy one stay per calendar year at each of the SOCAN Houses.
2. Application must be submitted to SOCAN no earlier than 3 months prior to the start date of your requested stay period.
3. Availability of all SOCAN Houses can be found in the Online Calendar on socan.com. Please consult with the Online Calendar for dates of availability and submit your application to SOCAN as soon as possible
4. Stay details: the duration and maintenance fee per stay are as follows:

• All stays are 14 days
• At SOCAN House Los Angeles: 14 days – USD $200.00
• At SOCAN House Nashville: 14 days – USD $200.00
• At SOCAN House Paris: temporarily unavailable

All stays begin on a Monday. Check-in is after 12 pm (local time), and check-out is before 12 pm (local time) on Sunday.

5. The maximum occupancy for SOCAN House Los Angeles, SOCAN House Paris and SOCAN House Nashville is 2 people, including you. If your guest is a SOCAN member, please provide their name and SOCAN member number on your application.
