SOCAN was pleased to honour Robert G. Scott for co-writing the Michael Bublé hit song “Hollywood,” which topped the Nielsen BDS AC chart for four weeks, starting Oct. 11, 2010. It also reached the peak position on the MuchMoreMusic Countdown chart Dec. 3, 2010.

Jodie Ferneyhough, from SOCAN's Board of Directors, presented an appreciative Scott with his No. 1 Award plaque on Feb. 24, 2011, in the Studio Café at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto. SOCAN's Jason Belo and Rodney Murphy also attended the presentation, as did Scott's wife and immediate family.

The song was co-written by Bublé (who'll be awarded a plaque on a separate occasion), and is published by I'm The Last Man Standing Music Inc. and Warner Chappell Music Canada Ltd.
