The Madison Writing Room
This immaculate, newly renovated home of professional songwriter and SOCAN member RyLee Madison has an open door policy for fellow SOCAN members. The Madison Writing Room offers a fully furnished bedroom with a queen and twin bed, free wireless internet, free phone calls within the US and Canada, free coffee, shared bath, spacious parking, use of kitchen, a beautiful deck to write on, a fire pit to enjoy and more! Shopping, grocery, banks, restaurants, a beautiful park and fitness gym are just a few conveniences located nearby. All this nestled on a half acre in a quiet suburban neighborhood only 10 minutes from Music Row and 15 minutes to the Nashville airport! Additional amenities include an iron and ironing board, weekly Nashville publications, provided maps and local info, laundry facilities, hair dryer and towels. References are available upon request from other songwriters who have stayed at the house.

The rate is $210 US per week, with occupancy based on one person for seven days/six nights. $25 US processing fee if paying with credit card. Additional nights beyond the first week will be billed at $35 US per night. Additional guests at $10 per night.  Payment is due upon making reservation. Cancellations with at least two weeks' notice will receive a full refund; one week's notice will receive a half refund. ($25 US processing fee is non-refundable.) Please note that this is a non-smoking home.

"The Ottoh Inn"
This is not actually an Inn, but the household of professional songwriter and SOCAN member Tebey Ottoh, who is opening his doors to fellow SOCAN songwriters visiting Nashville. The room is available for rent by the week at a cost of $200 US, plus $10 US per day for a second person. Guests have access to wireless Internet, free local and North American calling, shared kitchen, satellite TV and their own private washroom, with both shower and bathtub. The house occupies approximately 2,200 square feet, and is located 15 minutes from downtown Nashville (Music Row), five minutes from the airport and an eight-minute walk to Percy Priest Lake. References are available, upon request, from other songwriters that have stayed at the house.

Doak Turner House
Professional songwriter and BMI member Doak Turner is offering a room for rent to visiting SOCAN songwriters for a week, or even a couple of nights at a time. The rate is $50 US per night, to be paid in advance in order to reserve the accommodations. The room is equipped with a shower, and the entire house is available for co-writing sessions, and a full-size keyboard is available, if required. Guests have access to a washer/dryer and all appliances, as well a deck and back yard in a neighborhood 12 minutes from Music Row, with shopping malls very close by. Turner can also help visiting members network in Nashville by recommending events they might attend, as he is the owner of music listings tip sheet The Nashville Muse. If visiting songwriters are staying through the third Sunday of any given month, there's a monthly party that happens at the house, which attracts 50 or more songwriters networking, sharing meals and playing original songs.
